We currently have an opening for a full-time, organized and detail oriented HR-Manager to work in our office in Dallas. We are a leading Human Resources Outsourcing firm headquartered in Dallas, with an ESAC accredited and bonded PEO service offering. The successful candidate must work well in a fast paced, high energy, environment and have strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.

We currently have a career opportunity in our Client Services department as a Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager (HRM) acts as a consultant to the client for all human resources related subject matter and as a liaison between the client and Staff One internal departments in order to efficiently and effectively meets the client’s needs and expectations. The HRM provides support to the client for various HR related needs by assisting with planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices. Supports corporate leadership by demonstrating alignment with corporate values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultant to the client by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues
  • Responsible for performing initial HR audits for clients to identify and prioritize areas that are in need of being developed, improved or enhanced to better support the clients operation and be compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with company policy
  • Evaluates results of HR audits and provide recommendations
  • Provides clear and effective counsel to client management and employees on all HR issues
  • Conducts new client on-boarding and orientation meetings
  • Provides training and education on HR Center for client and client employees
  • Assists the client with the development, revision and implementation of human resource policies
  • Maintains client company handbook to ensure it is current and up to date with the most relevant local, state, and federal regulations
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with FMLA guidelines, tracking and notification requirements for clients
  • Presents training sessions related to HR related topics during monthly webinars, Thirst for Knowledge program and as requested by clients
  • Responds to all client questions and request for information in a timely manner
  • Participates in professional development sessions or seminars
  • Works with client on special projects, as requested
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the clients organization from executives to line workers or equivalent
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully and develops alternative solutions
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Ensures timely notification to clients with regards to any changes in local, state and federal regulations and assists with any training or employee notifications as necessary
  • Provides prompt and successful resolution to client issues and concerns
  • Knowledgeable in all of Staff One ancillary benefit offerings; assist with benefit open enrollment meetings, as needed
  • Project a positive and professional image on behalf of the organization in carriers
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Current/valid PHR/SPHR certification required
  • 7+ years of Human Resources/Client Services experience required
  • Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry experience preferred
