We currently have an opening for a Payroll Specialist in the Payroll department in our corporate office in North Dallas. The successful candidate must work well in a fast paced, high energy, environment and have strong organizational skills and with acute attention to detail. This position reports to the Director of Payroll.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurately manage all aspects of payroll processing
  • Prior knowledge of processing wage garnishments
  • Recording changes for employee master payroll records
  • Preparing ad hoc reports as requested
  • Maintains wide variety of payroll information, files, and records in written and electronic format
  • Interfaces regularly with Human Resources and benefits/Compensation for payroll and related issues
  • Ensuring accuracy of leave balances in accordance with the HR Policies and Procedures of clients.
  • Respond to client questions and requests for information
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.


  • Associates Degree desired
  • HR Pyramid experience, a plus
  • Minimum 2 years working knowledge and experience of multi-state tax laws
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through to resolve any issues
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills required
  • FCP or CPP Accreditations, a plus
  • Experience with certified payrolls, a plus
